Active Ingredient: Anhydrous Meropenem 1000mg
Excipient: Sodium Carbonate 90.2mg
Presentation:
White to off-white sterile, lyophilized powder in a 20 ml vial.
Accompanying vial of sterile water for injection (SWFI) for reconstitution.
Indications:
Treatment of severe bacterial infections, including:
Pneumonia
Intra-abdominal infections
Meningitis
Septicemia
Urinary tract infections
Skin and soft tissue infections
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to meropenem or any components of the formulation
Route of Administration: Intravenous (IV)
Storage:
Store at 25°C (77°F); excursions permitted to 15-30°C (59-86°F).
Protect from light and moisture.
Reconstituted solution should be used within 24 hours if stored at room temperature or within 4 hours if stored at 2-8°C (36-46°F).
